KANGOUROU zine 2004
A title flirting with the devil., a weird cover and a music close to insanity. Here is what we could say from this experienced band that keeps moving up despite several changes of line-up.
The CD contains 5 titles where hardcore embraces metal. Huge sound, powerful voice (not grind) and a guitarist as sharp as a butcher cutting the last beef.
It’s dark and powerful at the same time. A band to discover live as soon as possible.
PARANOYHARD 2004
I really liked this record. Yes. Why ?
I honestly can't tell, weird no ? Maybe because it's conctantly stressing and troubling in this thrash/hardcore music? Maybe because it is not as expected as other records? Anyway, I like Sinn's music and to explain how it can trouble you… the best might be to buy it. Weirdly great !
ROCK'N'FOLK 2004
(...)This 1998 parisian based trio seems to have found its way since the arrival of the former Black Bomb A bassist.
This first record is as efficient as an uppercut and will delight the fans of this kind of music. The lyrics are as well quite explicit, as those of "kill you idols" for example.
VICKING 2005
Sinn comes the suburbs of Paris. It has been created by two former of Exhauster and the 666 x murder project is the second record. From a musical point of view (is it not what we are interested in?), Sinn plays a troubling thrash hardcore and, to be honest, it does it very well. What could best describe this band who brings us into a weird and unknown world might well be "tortured and troubling". The vocals remain a long holeless groan and are the focal point in the music of Sinn, carrying us through a world of torture and insanity. The guitars are really catching, dark and loud and match the hammering drums. Sinn switches cleverly from heavy and slow to fast tempo. If you like troubling metal, you would better listen to this 6 tracks and hope the first record will come soon. A band to discover, to listen to, again and again.
